1. Site Content
The Site is operated by Wineverse SAS. It enables users to order wine in tasting boxes of wine samples or in bottles. It also offers online wine-tasting training sessions.
2. Personal Data Protection
MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL INFORMATION
Users may visit the Site without disclosing their identity or providing personal information. However, they must register to order wine and access content reserved for club members (including online tasting sessions). The personal data collected are the user’s surname, first name and email address.
PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
Providing this data is necessary for the Company to process the user’s request and gives access to the various wine-tasting videos. In addition, statistical tools may store IP addresses and other information to compile Site visit statistics. An IP address is a number automatically assigned to a computer by the internet service provider when it connects to the internet. Users may at any time exercise their rights to access, rectify, query or object to information provided at registration or subsequently by writing to the Company at WINEVERSE SAS, 229 RUE SAINT HONORE 75001 PARIS 1 France, or by email at hello@flakon.com.
DATA MANAGEMENT
The Company undertakes to comply with the provisions of Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, relating to information technology, files and civil liberties, and to take all necessary precautions to protect the security of personal information entrusted to it. No personal information will be shared with third-party companies without the user’s prior informed consent.
3. Cookies
A cookie is a text file placed on a user’s hard drive by the server of a website they visit. It does not, however, identify the user. It simply creates a random number that records information. Session cookies are deleted from the user’s computer when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies remain stored on the user’s computer after the browser is closed, for a period of 6 months.
The cookies used by the Company are intended to facilitate electronic communication. They are strictly necessary to provide an online communication service. Prior consent from the user is therefore not required before they are used. Users may nevertheless refuse cookies through the banner displayed when they first visit the Site.
4. Social Networks
The Site uses plugins for social networks. When users interact with these plugins, information about their browsing on the Site is transmitted to and stored on a server operated by the relevant social network and shared according to the settings of their account on that network, in accordance with its terms of use. 5. Liability
WINEVERSE SAS accepts no liability for any malfunctions of the Site that may result in data loss or make the information published on it unavailable. The content on the Site may be changed without notice and is made available to users without any warranty of any kind, express or implied.
The presence of hyperlinks on the Site, whether or not the Company has previously agreed to them, does not make the Company jointly responsible with the owners of other websites for the content of sites to which users are redirected. The Company cannot guarantee that the information on the Site is complete or accurate. Nor can it guarantee that the information has not been modified by a third party (through an intrusion or virus, for example).
Furthermore, users are solely responsible for their use of the Site’s content. Except in cases of gross negligence solely on the part of the Company, it cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage related to the use of information published on the Site.
